Own Music and Unlock Multiple Streams of Income

When you own music track(s) on Gala Music, you unlock the potential for two types of daily earnings, plus the long term possibility your track(s) increasing in value:

  1. Daily Earnings from Your Own Listening: Once you purchase a track, you qualify for daily rewards based on your own listening habits for the next 30 days. This means every time you listen to music on the platform, you earn money—not just from the track(s) you own but from the entire Gala Music library.
  2. Daily Earnings from Others Listening: On top of the earnings from your own personal listening, you’ll also generate income whenever other people listen to the music track(s) you own. As the track(s) gains popularity, your earnings increase—creating a continuous passive income stream.
  3. Tracks Increase in Value: Since each track is a limited edition NFT, its value can rise over time. You can hold onto it for ongoing earnings or resell it later, potentially at a much higher price that you bought it for, and the new owner will continue to earn from the track’s listens.

Prefer not to spend any money? Earn for Free!

Not ready to purchase a track yet? No problem! You can still start earning by referring others to Gala Music and use those funds to purchase tracks to leverage your income or simply withdraw your money. This option allows you to earn money without spending anything upfront, making it a great way to get involved and start building your income completely risk free.

When a musician releases a track on Gala Music, the track itself is available as a limited edition copy (for example 100 copies). The tracks are NFT's (Non Fungible Tokens) which means the owner of every track can be verified on the public blockchain and rewarded according to the popularity (how many listens a track receives) and rarity of each track.

Music tracks can be listened by anyone and as long as they are paired with a "JUKEBOX", will generate an income for the owner. A jukebox is software created by Gala Music to stream music to listeners.

Real Life Case Study. How much can you earn?

Hosting your music tracks on a Jukebox

Jukeboxes are run and hosted by individual users and music enthusiasts on their own computers, rather than being directly managed by Gala Music. This approach significantly reduces hosting costs for Gala Music, which is one of the key reasons they can afford to pay daily rewards to both music track owners and jukebox operators. It's a distinctive feature that makes this music streaming service both innovative and unique.

As a music track owner, you will receive daily rewards for as long as the tracks you own are being played (i.e. for ever?!)

The rewards you receive are $MUSIC tokens that can easily be exchanged into any other currency or money via exchanges such as Coinbase or Binance. To see the current value of $MUSIC tokens, you can visit: CoinMarketCap.com

The daily rewards issued for each track are split 50:50 with the owner of the track and the operator of the Jukebox. This means if you own the music and place it on your own jukebox, you will earn twice as much compared to owning the music but hosting it on someone else's jukebox.

Double your earnings by operating a jukebox

There is no doubt that owning music tracks is a fun and potentially rewarding way to earn money with Gala music, but as seen above, if you also own a jukebox and placing your music on your jukebox, you will double your earnings for each music track. Learn more about Jukeboxes here.

Tutorial: How to host a track on a community jukebox

You don't have to own a jukebox yourself to earn from your music track(s). You can host your music on someone else's jukebox and you'll earn 50% of the daily rewards with the other 50% going to the owner of the jukebox. This video shows you how to host your music on someone else's jukebox.

Don't have a jukebox to host your own music? Here's some Jukebox ID's you can try that might have some space available for your tracks:
